Green Computing Tip of the Month

The EPA has a website http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=power_mgt.pr_power_management that discusses Power Management for Windows Computers. It has a nice utility to put PC’s into power saving mode. They have scripts for Windows XP and utilities for Windows Vista.

If you talk to your utility company you can obtain and energy credit. Doing what they suggest can save $10-25 in warm climates and $5-10 dollars per PC at minim.
