Juniper EX Series Switches
I recently ordered 2 demo Juniper EX series switches and I must say I am very impressed. Juniper has done a create job with the design.
The Juniper EX series has 2 hot swapable power supplies and a hot swappable fan tray. Most other switch manufactures do not have hot swapable fans or power supplies. Most Cisco stackable switches such as the 3750 series do not allow for hot swapping.
It also has the ability to have 2 bootable images, you can have a primary and secondary image to allow for easy recovery.
It also runs on the JUNOS operating system. Juniper is attempting to have all of it's platforms run the JUNOS operating system.
The cost for the support contracts on the switches are also great.
